PAYMENT PROCESSING: Vera’s Vinatge Watches accepts PayPal as our only form of payment. Arrangements can be made for payment by personal check. Watches will ship after payment has cleared the bank. We do this to reduce our costs to provide you the best pricing. We do not sell on Ebay and therefore can offer pricing without consideration of sales fees.

SHIPPING AND HANDLING: We always check each watch before shipping. Since we cannot wind every watch everyday, we inspect the watch and test it before shipping. In some cases we wait to add crystal before shipping as well....especially with models that one one-piece cases that the movement is removed from the front. This is so we can photograph it if needed and inspect it and test it before shipping. This can take several days. We also try to get you the best authentic watch straps for the watch, but they are becoming more rae and hard to find. While we keep most in stock, there may be a delay in shipping if we need to order or find one. Otherwise, we can negotiate a price reduction without a strap.

REPAIR & RESTORATION SERVICES: We also provide a variety of repair and restoration services to you. We have genuine new-old-stock watch parts to service your vintage watch. We clean, oil, and get your watch running far below your local jeweler or watch repair services who cannot stock and provide genuine and authentic replacement parts. We are a home-based business and because of reduced overhead we can service your watch affordably. We use only the best Swiss watch tools (Bergeon quality in most cases) and oils. OUTSIDE VENDOR SERVICES: Should your watch requires more specialization in restoration then we can provide, we work with a number of high-quality service providers for case repair, replating, and dial restoration. While we cannot control the costs of such outside services, we can guarantee you a superior result.

MILITARY PARTS & DIALS: We also have a large inventory of new-old-stock military watch dials and parts. Contact us regarding your interest and needs.

MOVEMENTS & PARTS: Due to our extensive watch supplies inventory, we can offer you parts and full and partial movements for your own projects. We encourage your interest in vintage watches and we are here to assist you to the best of our ability. Our fully assembled movements have been cleaned, oiled, and are complete and running. We have a variety of movements available for you, so contact us regarding your needs. We also can provide “partial” movements. These are not really “partial” - they are used, full-set of movement parts that come pre-cleaned in a tin unassembled. Some parts may even be new-old-stock components – but they are complete. Prices for assembled working movements vary depending on caliber and rarity. Prices for partials normally run $25 to $45. If your need is only for a specific part, write to us and inquire regarding availability and price. We are happy to assist you, whatever your need, at an affordable price.

WATCH & HAND CROWNS: We also have genuine new-old-stock winding crowns and hands for Bulova watches and military watches. Let us know what you might need. Watch hands are especially hard to find these days. We can quote you a price based on our inventory and scarcity.

SHIPPING RATES: We provide flat rate domestic shipping rates. Watches and movements are shipped for an additional $5.95. Parts are shipped for $2.95. There is usually no additional shipping charge for combined purchases. We can ship to Canada and the U.K. for an additional charge. Otherwise, we do not ship internationally.

OUR GUARANTEE: We guarantee our watches for 30 days from purchase. Due to the age and delicacy of vintage watches it is not practicable to extend our guarantee to you longer. Our pledge is if you are not happy, we will make it right. If there is a problem, return it and we will fix it. If you are still not satisfied we can offer you another watch of the same value in exchange, or we can refund your purchase price less shipping. We want you to be happy and will strive to earn your loyalty and trust. We can not, however, honor our guarantee on a watch that has been in any way tampered with after purchase. We have taken lengths to determine if the watch has been tampered with or attempts made to examine it that may have caused a problem. Vintage watches can be delicate and we simply ask that if you have a problem within 30 days, return it to us. In the future, if your watch needs repair or service, contact us.
